SES Silver crown Spotlight

I bought this little spotlight in the late 80s from the local DIY store though they didn't sell the silver crown bulbs, so I used a golf ball bulb at first. A mate had this for a few years until he redecorated and gave it back to me. After several decades it was a mess, scratched and the white finish had yellowed. Here it is now resprayed, I thought it would look good in black with the silver. It now has the correct SES 25w Silver crown bulb.

neat little spotlight, from the thumbnail, i thought it was E27! never knew they did SES silver spots

Yes I had a little clip on crown silver once upon a time probably gone now though Neutral

A silver clip on crown would have been great as these bulbs were difficult to obtain at the time and the internet wasn't what it now is. You would think that the small electrical shops that existed at the time would have been more helpful but they were generally staffed by the most stupid and unhelpful people who knew nothing about electrics! Mad
