Installs like this, or with other unusual lamps, usually in large quantities seem to be common now in shops and cafes. Surprised they're not LED (yet)

I thought linear incandescent lamps were popular only in Europe and UK.

They were back in the 1970s-mid 2000s. LED has killed them off
|

LED version of this lighting, are very popular here in Israel at shops.
