SOX in the evening light (part 1) The village of Littlebury near Saffron Walden in Essex, UK is still home to some incredible uninterrupted stretches of SOX lanterns, all in good working order - quite a sight to see nowadays! I wondered if this was Essex. My aunt and uncle live in Newport (not far from here) and their village is mostly still SOX lit. Only recently, the lantern opposite their house got a replacement SOX lamp
