London Underground station platform lighting - still T12!
This is really quite some sight these days - pictured at Russell Square station, which is probably the last of the zone 1 stations to have T12 tubes still in use, although there may still be some stations further out with T12 as well. T12s suit these fittings very well as there is less difference in the thicknesses of the tubes and fittings (unlike most other stations nowadays). Most had their lighting replaced by T8 tubes in 2011. I might come back here and get some better pictures.
