Rich is that ballast ok? Confused Looks toasted? How long did the old lamp last?

Ballast is fine Kev, its just well worked!, this fitting has been on here since February 1993, not too sure about this lamp, it was a used one when it went in, but its done only 2 years and 2 months in here.

I have plenty of lamps and spare chokes to keep this running until the fitting disintergrates!!

Yes, on a board somewhere up the loft, it came out of my cracked MSB18
