It needs re installing once saved really! Even for me this would be too good to leave in the collection coupboard if it'd even fit to gather dust

Both formats are SRS ballasts, they have a slow fade up, no flicker

Nice to see. The same as the fittings that used to be in my village hall, they had QS gear though. Would love one but there's no where to put it though!

Large Formats were oftern used in hospitals built in the late 60's early 70's, our local one had these too, not sure if this wide though. They were also popular in modern designer offices as these were ground breaking fittings at the time, as nothing else like this was available. They are the for runners of the modern suspended ceiling flush fittings, these nearly flush but not quiet, but super slim for a surface mount. Anyways, if anyone has a serious interest in the formats or the A.E.I louvre fittings get in touch as they should be available shortly

My old 6th faorm had 6 of these in 2' form. Sadly every cover was broken. What's worse is that over the summer holidays they changed them all for L.E.D panels

A TV & video rental place my mum worked for about 25 yrs ago had these in a new store they were going to open. Place was refitted before they moved in and I ended up with all the old fittings. All had SRS gear in them. Sadly all long gone now tho!
