Cool to see the internal lit sign posts still in use in London, these were all over our town in the early 80s, but were all but gone by the beginning of the 90s!

These ones were actually installed circa 2011, so they're fairly new installations. I actually really like them!

Used to be a lot in Surrey too when I was younger. I can't think of a single one that still exists now

Yeah, I think the warm white suits these really well! Admittedly, cool white or daylight would look good too, but nothing beats warm white.

Warm white looks gorgeous in twilight and on an overcast rainy day. I've seen some backlit signs in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight that use daylight fluorescent, they were installed before Isle of Wight went LED in 2013/14 - they also look good but a bit too sterile
