Always liked these Megaman's, they remind me of those older Philips PL-T and CFL's witht he three arched tubes.

Same with me - I wouldn't be surprised if they took a leaf out of Philips from their PL-T and CFLS with parallel 3 arched tubes Cool This year i was lucky to pick up a load of Philips softones (16W) and stick (three arched) 20W CFLS from a seller in Slough, Berkshire

Yes I guess they may have used a similar design, though I think the exposed pip on the Megaman is their own design as the cold spot of the tube Cool

These are pretty good lamps. They have a pre-heat start too.

@Beta 5: The external pip is something else, the feature that you see on old carbon filament based bulbs but on CFLS Cool plus I love the inverted U bend of the design @Oliver: That is the selling point of Megaman CFLS the preheat feature of their Ingenium electronic ballasts that preserve the life of the electrodes/emitters Smile sure they may start up dim but it is worth it
