Walsall flameproof bulkhead
Yesterday (01/04/24) I went to a local antiques fair boasting around 200 - 300 stalls. As I was strolling around, I happen on this gorgeous bulkhead, that was what I thought before I went to pick it up at least, and quickly realised that gorgeous bulkhead is actually one of the heaviest bulkheads I've ever picked up in my life. I asked the seller how it much it was, and as soon as he said £30 I bit his arm off, these very often being seen at over £120 on eBay, and upwards of £450 from these large salvage vendors.

Getting it home, I realised how little work this bulkhead needs, overall its in perfect condition, no surprises down to its hellishly overengineered construction. Its absolutely being installed though, I've never known a bulkhead to be this heavy, so mainly its being installed to get it out the way and prevent it from smashing anything.
