The gear that came with the Gaash Sealight Plus as standard It uses PTC controlled preheating, but have proper EOL protection. When a lamp reaches EOL, the ballast behaves exactly like an Arlen Pulsestarter on a 36W T8 lamp, and unable to start the lamps. This looks a common with programmed start ballasts for two lamps as well.

Seems a bit cheapo to go for the essential range, though that said they probably aren't any worse than the Chinese Tridonic's some here were coming with.

Doesn't say 'Made in China' on it, so already better than the Chinese Tridonics...

@Beta 5: Various electronic ballasts. The storage of Carmel hospital have VS/Eltam/Osram/Philips/Tridonic.

I have installed several of those in luminaires (replacing Chinese ballasts), don't recall any problems with them

There were some of them triggering EOL protection on good lamps, which was the reason why they were been replaced.

Normally I'm used to seeing a HF-P in this sort of fitting, though being Polish Philips they shouldn't be too bad? They have got to be better than the generic stuff with the cheap fittings, though the quality of the ballast in those usually matches the fixture itself.
