I using it at my room at my father home, instead of the 160W MBTF, when the weather is hotter.
I don't know what is the manufacturing year of the two, but each one costed 100ILS.

I remember that I indeed bought them at the first decade of the 2000's, since I began to interest in the lamps themselves at the beginning of the 2000's, when my grandfather from my mother side R.I.P, bought a German Osram HWL 160W and my father office had German Osram Fluorasets with Osram HQL-R Deluxe 80W. The cooling down and hot restrike was very interesting to me.

I haven't seen these in 840 very much, it makes a change from the usual CFL options of 827 and 865.

The Osram Dulux EL 840 colour was very popular here in Israel. I had an Osram Dulux EL Longlife 15W/840, which was the first CFL I holded and actually seen, as well as the first fluorescent lamp with an electronic ballast, instead of switch start choke + starter. The two 23W/840 I bought one to my mother home and later to my hostel and one to my father home. My mother also had an Osram Duluxstar 23W/840 once, that its electrolytic capacitor failed, and I've a very degraded Osram Dulux EL Economy 21W/840 in my nylon bag in my room at my father home, which is very dim. All of them, except the latter were bought at Home Center. The Dulux EL Longlife costed 100ILS.
Here in Israel, CFLs called generically EL lamps.
