Philips 20W MCFE 840 P15 Triphosphor 2ft T12 fluorescent tubes
I upload these as a companion to my comment on AngryHorses 700W HPL-N upload, to show another sort of lamp/tube with a Philips engineering code, you see these codes on Philips engineering samples or special examples of a common type of lamp, for example these 2 tubes with their P15 code, means they are very tightly controlled in terms of their lamp to lamp colour variance, and what their colour is in general, these lamps found use specifically with marks and spencer, as well as in Verivide colour matching light boxes, as an aside these compliment my 125W 8ft examples nicely, and being MCFE specification, they do indeed have 9V cathodes and work well with Quickstart control-gear

Interesting now you’ve pointed it out, I don’t think I’d have even noticed that on the merc? But it did come from James, so an engineering sample would make sense now? Cool
