Osram Vialox NAV-T Super 400w SON-T lamp A very nice (fairly) vintage example of a "Super" SON-T lamp, found on Ebay recently. The country of origin is not stated but I believe this came out of the Shaw plant. Does the "Super" designation refer to a longer lifespan?

That’s an easy 15 year lamp

Little higher pressure, giving a little better efficiency and color rendering. In its day those (and their equivalents from all manufacturers) used to be the default lamps used everywhere, they were more common than the non Super types
