It's that same warmth that is very much missed from the streets now it has gone SON always gives a nice effect, though it can be a bit overwhelming if used indoors (back when sports halls and swimming pool halls were lit with it) with no daylight to supplement it!

Realistically you’re right, after sitting under it for 4 hours indoors I was somewhat nauseated , although our sports hall was completely SON lit at school it is quite an awful colour to have inside! They were better suited for street lighting and for swimming pools, mixed with halides
