Interesting fitting, I haven't seen one like that before. What is the brand?

Looks decent, is it magnetic ballasted?

@Oliver: I haven't a clue as the label doesn't reveal the make/brand - I'll either have to take it apart @Beta 5: Yes it is magnetic ballasted which makes it my top favourite 13W T5 fixture as the rest of them for the same wattage are basically modern Chinese made ones with instant start ballasts

Excellent that should last well and be kinder on the tubes than instant start

I think what really put us both off the T5 fixtures is that they came in mostly instant start electronic ballasts - when the good old magnetic ballasted gear comes in, we love the T5 fluorescent lighting - the only saving grace for large T5 fixtures is the pre programmed HF electronic ballasts cos they actually do their job if they're made properly

Yes I was never hugely keen on typical instant start T5 link lights with non replaceable HF ballasts, magnetic gear is always better there. The long T5 fittings tend to be built like proper fittings with standard replaceable HF ballasts etc.
