In Soviet electrical devices over many years it was virtually always the case that the color of a device was a bit random, often pink, beige of varying degrees of paleness etc. Sometimes streaks following the pattern of powder fill if it hasn't been mixed between batches. I think that was actually preceived as a feature and tbh made things nice and interesting
Over here bakelite components were generally of high consistency, on par with those of western Europe manufacturers, but even then you would occasionally find a FL tube socket from the 70s with one half white and one half pinkish or with translucent inclusions etc
