LightKeeper
A 'LightKeeper Pro' device for fixing mini light sets...with the set plugged in, you connect it as shown in the pic, and click the trigger (usually multiple times) to make the set light.

Won't 'fix' every non-lighting set, but actually works quite well, deff saves allot of time finding problems.
Incandescent lights only though.

Surely it would need to link out the blown lamp but finding that blown lamp can be a problem?

@Kev: Actually all the little lamps in these sets have a shunt down below the filament that's supposed to take over once the filimant dies... and allot of times it works, but as we all know 'supposed to' doesn't mean "it will always work" LOL This nifty little device just gives the set a little kick of voltage to make those 'bad' shunts connect. Ofcourse its not going to help if too many lamps have blown or there's a bad wire somewhere

I've got one of these, the most useless piece of crap I ever purchased. Noma sold these some 10-15yrs back in the UK.

@Slyspark: interesting, wonder what the difference was? These actually work fairly well on the lights here?

Maybe its something to do with the voltage difference? Only saw them on sale here for just one year.
