Light Emission Technologies 100w T12 8Ft
I installed a Fitzgerald twin 100w T12 lightpack in my garage but I had only the two German-made Sylvania lamps that it came with.
A local firm had changed their lighting scheme and were selling off their stock of obsolete lamps so I decided to pick a few up for my personal stores.

They turned out to be these. I've never heard of Light Emission Technologies and they are made in the U.S.A.

Interesting that they have earth strips on them too. I'm assuming because they have the earthing strip, they are "special application" lamps and thus exempt from the import/manufacture ban on T12 lamps

These are interesting tubes. The earth strips must be for getting round the ban. The strips are quite flimsy and peel off very easily. I wonder who makes these, the caps look like Philips.

I have 3 of these I rescued from a B&M shop a couple of years ago. They seem very well made tubes and shielded. Lid like to find more but they're quite hard to come by

Wow never knew that funko McSupunko! I'll bare that in mind, bet there is supplier over here ordering them up and selling them. Wonder if we could get hold of them direct? Shocked

I want to tour that lighting plant, and maybe place a order for case of proper coloured 125 watt tubes.
FrontSideBus   [03 Jan, 2016 at 12:13 PM]
They'll probably tell you to do one unless you order like 1000 Smile
Andy   [03 Jan, 2016 at 12:55 PM]
Would be great if they could make these in 125w colour 865!
FrontSideBus   [03 Jan, 2016 at 01:48 PM]
I'd buy a case in 125w 840! Smile

Would be a good idea, but I bet they couldn`t get a box from the states to here in one piece? Surprised

For a big bulk order like what these were probably from theyd be sent correctly on a big pallet or magnum. Bulk orders would probably the only way to get them over here.

I've got loads of sylvania 125w 840 shame they only last like 2 minutes!

Funny you should mention that Kev as I have just been in the loft to put the Christmas decorations away and the 125w Sylvania 840 you gave me burned out! Pissed off now as it was a lovely bright tube Mad

One of the two of these installed in a twin Fitzgerald Lightpack In my garage failed to come on today. Been on LEL Multipulse starters all it's life. Not sure what's wrong as there is a car in the way preventing examination.
Oliver   [22 Jun, 2020 at 03:17 PM]
Probably the starter or EOL tube

Is it just me or is anyone seeing that theres a thumbnail issue with this pic on the homepage?.... these tubes seem to last well!
FrontSideBus   [22 Jun, 2020 at 09:51 PM]
Yeah the thumbnail doesn't show for me.

See if you can replace the file with an identical image if you have one? That should fix it.
FrontSideBus   [22 Jun, 2020 at 10:00 PM]
