T8 vs T12. Colour 840. Showing a Philips 18w T8 lamp burning next to a Philips 20w T12. Both lamps are triphosphor cool white colour 840. The T8 looks brighter but only because the surface area is smaller. Both are very nice colours with good colour rendering.
