50watt SON-T in a coach lantern!
Behold!, the power of high pressure sodium!, it was a shame to hide a PIA Master SON behind a diffused bowl, looks better from clear glass!

Ha ha does the domestic lantern work ok with SON? Surprised

Yes, these are the decent ones from Wickes, in ally and glass, and the white ones, (the same as white blinders), don`t seem to suffer from the powder coat coming off like the black ones.

They suffer less that's for sure

SON-Ts go in lovely in these, with a half inch to spare, what I like about these Wickes coach lights, they have proper ceramic ES lampholders in, and their heat sleeved from the factory, so no mod is needed. Cool

This is the best set up I`m going to get now, I love 50watt SON, I love the style of these lanterns, and have loads of spare gear and lamps!, I`ve vowed that this is the LAST ever mod my garden lights are getting!
