never seen a capacitor like this before, it had 4 foil covered coils within it, made from what looked like waxy paper. dont think this will work somehow ! note the english electric ss 25 amp fuse, it had blown long ago, and someone had gone to the trouble of soldering a bit of wire accross it ! which had blown

Bloody hell, that capacitor is wired in VIR so very old. That's fucked! Be interesting to see that ballast though!
