Sealey "18/36w" rechargeable portable fluorecent light.
Spotted this on eBay and decided to get one as it looked interesting.
Advertised as being an 18/36w unit with either one or both lamps lit but as soon as I applied power it became apparent that the lamps are not being ran at full power and upon probing with the oscilloscope I discovered that the lamps are being ran at about 12khz at only 8w!

Still interesting and I plan to mod this with some proper 18w fluorescent inverters.

Supplied lamps are 6500k jobbies with no markings on them whatsoever.

I used to have one very similar fuck knows what ever happened to it! The one I had came with Philips 6500k lamps
