Classic shape!, I can imagine how awesome these looked with MV in them.

Yep! a nice classic lantern, and deff woulda looked awesome with MV. Hopefully these won't end up replaced with some LED crap.

It will be a sad loss when all these are gone, the gumdrop, acorn and buckets are part of what make America America! Very Happy , even here, we`ve been so use to seeing them in films and on TV for years!, their like little US icons! Very Happy

Yep that'll really sad if all those old lights eventually disappear Mad

I did find that the park where I took this pic is on the historic preservation list...so hopefully the lights are protected under that.
