Usually written in ink on the packet of any light bulb lamp is "wait for the bulb to cool before replacement" Philips them selves should know this better than anyone. So would of been a good idea for them to follow that instead of using it as an excuse to promote LED

LED do get hot though, just in a different place! , and why has she got the lights on in bloody sunny daylight!, thst what my missus does!

I want to know why there is no smoke detector either It is so typical mum!

I was wondering why she's got the light on in the day aswell. Perhaps she works on the railways as they seem to specialise in having lights on in bright sunshine.

Wouldn't of happened with an 8' twin! ironically a Philips LED lamp I brought for a trial in a large chandelier about a year ago has gone EOLED
