Utilair BC Fitting
This classic fitting is one of the oldest i have, its dated 1951 on the underside of the ballast which sits directly ontop of the fitting spine, i have a later version with the same plastic trough but that one has a box section spine to house the gear. Made by UTILAIR, i know very little about this company, they seem to have made a lot of fittings used in military camps as i have only seen these in such places.
These were rescued from a dis used RAF camp

cheers, man, yes the rose is most likely 1960's actually, have several of these from part of an old brewery site, old ROCK plug in 5 amp roses for conduit boxes.

they were ahead of there time thinking about it, with direct downward reflected light, and some indirect through the 'reflector' lovely collection of old fittings you have.
