This is devistating!!!

Well, I have to admit what I`m about to say is quite shocking , this photo doesn`t do it justice!!!!!, yes its true, this photo show the classic `dark patches` between the columns, but to see it first hand, it really isn`t like this, there is no dark spots between them!, I went out last night at about 1am, to take another pic, (but that came out the same), to see it in person its a nice even light all down the road, I just can`t get the real scene on photo! , as far as LED goes, I think Cheshire East Council have made a good call here. Just wish I knew whos lanterns they were????, I haven`t seen these before, their like a more stylish, (squared off), version of the Ampera, in 2 tone colour, (white top half, grey bottom), with the diodes mounted length ways each side of the bottom, with a gap in the middle of them????, theres a tiny badge on the side of the spigot but I can`t read it from the ground.

Can you get any close ups
I`ll try, but I spent all yesterday afternoon trawling through all the big names, Urbis, Philips, WRTL, Indal, Thorn, Phosco, its none of them, at first glance it looks DW Windsor, but its not these either!, my mind has gone blank, and I cant think of any other names to try???

Shame the SOX had to go, doubt these will last as long

Holophane?
No not holophane , I also noticed the larger versions of these fitted around Trafford this morning. Usually I put `LED street lanterns` into Google images, and you soon find what your looking for!, but these are not on there, either their a new product and have not yet made it to Google images, or their European??

Such a shame. At least with Cosmo/M. Iridium it gives a lower temp with a descent spread of natural light. Not what I suspect the ghostly 5000k
