These had very old Brass capped Philips warm whites in, rated at 80 watts, very very hammered use !! i would think these would be the original tubes to when this place was put up in 1964

Looks Courney Pope, usually the end of the lampholders says ''Rock''. Factory near me late 60's had 1000's of these flattened 2 years ago Crying or Very sad

Yep Courtney-Pope 100% I'd love to know what happened to them Neutral

Those lampholders seemed to appear on a number of fittings? The college I was at in the early 90s had grey siders with these though they were gradually being replaced by GEC speedpacks. The college was built in 1969.

Are you sure they were t atlas Atlantic 1s like the one Phil uploaded the other
RobTDCI   [30 Aug, 2015 at 12:37 PM]
I don't know what they were tbh, but they definitely had these lampholders where the lampholder itself was fixed and the middle was spring loaded. There was a single version which Jon posted in LG about a year ago, entitled 'Old Atlas Quickstart fitting'. Most were fitted with opal diffusers with black endcaps.

I think it's a thorlux, I have the single version.

Upload it?
lampy   [30 Aug, 2015 at 03:35 PM]
sure its Crossland, as there was a lable on one side
lampy   [04 May, 2016 at 06:08 PM]
whats this fitting then as the lampholders look like that double falks andy is showing?
Andy   [04 May, 2016 at 06:13 PM]
This has the same "Rock" lampholders as my Falks but the batten is quite different! If it had a Crossland label on the side then that is surely who made it. I have only ever seen Crossland metal starters previously.

Yep so CROSSLAND, Falks and Courtney Pope must of all shared these lamp holders! Mind you they are good! Cool
