Rusty Revo 80w Bayonet Cap Fixture - Fitted!
Here you see a rusty Revo 5-foot bayonet cap fixture. This was bought (rescued!) from an 'upcycler' lady who said that, if it didn't sell, she would have used it as a planter!

This is going to stay just the way it is for now, no paint. I've serviced it, rewired it and replaced the dead 4-pin starter and socket with a 2-pin.

Here you see it fitted above my work bench & it will be used regularly.

I've taken out the vintage Cryselco Daylight tube that it came with and fitted a BNOS (1974) Philips 80w White, which I have plenty of.

It's like those fittings you see in control rooms in films from ww2. It looks just right in this location though!
