Invertec fluorescent bus light (lit)
Another superb example from Invertec who make low voltage fluorescent lighting for buses, trains ambulances etc. This looks like it may have been from an ambulance as it has a dim function that reduces light output to around 50% and is 12v rather than 24v that larger buses use. This example would be recessed into the ceiling panel. This is the second Invertec fluorescent light I have and they have always been quality with quality ballasts, built to do the hours without killing the tube unlike the caravan lights

Extensively used in Alexander and Northern Counties bodied double deckers in the 90s, no doubt among many others.
