This is a Philips manufactured tube, made in November 1993. I have two of these, both well used but working fine. Quite rare I believe?

Thats banded pretty nicely like. I have 5 of them but all are brand new not got the hours on them that this has!

These have been used on 2ft 20w Quickstart gear, that may have aided the banding somewhat!

Oh and they worked happy on there. Id of expected them to struggle starting!

Out of interest I've tried it, the tube started fine but swirled and seemed flickery. I didn't keep it running for long, I'm not sure if the arc would have extinguished itself after a while. The ballast got extremely hot too

It need to run on 2 footer 40 watt ballast. Or 2 x 20 watts these lamps got 55-60 arc volts

Thanks Funky. I've since had it running on 2x20w Ballasts in parallel and it ran fine. Very bright!
