Thorn 400w SON-TD

Coincidentally i removed this today... another 400w SON-TD fitting! This one unlike Alan's is a remote geared Thorn. Proper rugged with bomb proof Philips gear, this fitting was removed as we took the deteriorated 15m column down

Another lovely find! I'd love to get hold of a Linear SON fitting. I think the Thorn SON-TD and GEC SON-L lamps are different from each other.

Yes Rich the gear was in a large enclosure on the bottom of the column. Still running until removal.

nice lamp iv'e always liked the son-td lamps have in 250w and 400w and two matching haline 10 and 15 fittings
