Nope, ground wire is fine, just can't see it in the pic.

Its copper wire, so no worries there.
Wires are all pushed in the back holes rather than the screw terminals, but yep that one screw on the neutral side...they just left it sticking out so it was contacting the grounded/earthed metal.
There was a slight darkening of the metal at that contact point so I know power was flowing back through the ground wire.
Problem was fixed right after I took the pic since I needed to turn off the breaker anyway
