Hopefully there might be enough interest in these for James to be able to persuade Sylvania to run off another batch of these before fluorescent production comes to an end, I'm sure most of us would love to own one of these.

I am always trying but it takes a hell of a lot of effort to make them at Sylvania, because our lines are really fast and totally mechanised with an output of over 6000 tubes per hour. It is difficult and not so safe for people to intervene in the process. However it will happen sooner or later, perhaps when the next generation of apprentices are taken on and they have time for such things. And if there is enough time, perhaps some more of the tri-colour tubes Smile

6000 tubes per hour? Shocked ..more than one per second! .wow. that would be impressive to see in operation
