Holophane Module 600 internals

Removed a few weeks back, and subsequently saved, this absolute monster of a bulkhead, a Holophane Module 600, for 400w SON lamps. It came from the former Walsall Market, and was once one of five that lit the area. The area has since been redeveloped, and by the time we eventually removed them, there was just two left. Of those two, this was the only intact one. It was originally mounted on a ten meter column, and was attached to a mounting plate that was just as heavy as the bulkhead itself, believe me it was no easy feat getting it off and into the bucket. The bracket was taken off, as I prefer these wall mounted.

Hinging the cover down revealed uncorroded internals, and an extremely good condition reflector plate. The GE lamp is original from 1984, meaning the bulkhead is completely untouched from its installation from 1984, a rare feat these days.
