Glad you’re happy with the lantern surprising how this only spent around a year in use before coming down
|

Did the column fall over James?, or was it removed for another reason?

It was replaced due to the Road it came from, Queensway Bletchley this was the wrong lantern and replaced along with the rest of the columns which had a mix of lanterns. The Cols are 8m originally having Eleco GR150. On the same day this VMAX was removed the very last GR150 was also removed from Queensway which made it the last GR150 in Milton Keynes now happily sat in my garage loft awaiting its new home

Agreed Colin, when I first saw the V-Max 1, it was a bit of a shock, (being all gear housing and no lantern)! , my personal opinion now though is these are THE most stylish LED lantern on the roads today. We don`t yet have any 1 chevron versions here, as at the moment their starting to take over the main roads from Urbis`s Ampera, ours start at 3 chevrons. When you say 8 years, I had no idea it had been out that long

I didn’t know the VMAX was that old

The first I ever heard of the V-Max, was back in March 2016, when Danny posted this!
