Big Scary CFL from Turkey
Went to turkey and brought a big fat CFL back.
It's about 2 cassette tapes long and rated at 4000 lumens 2700k
It's more like 3000 lumens at 3000k even after warming up but it's still a interesting lamp.
Uses fat T5 tubing.

Have you ever seen Energetics 85 watt Spiral Mega? Very Happy

Yeah. Looks like mine's based off of it. What's a Energetics like lit up? The warm ones in turkey all looked a bit shit from all aspects you'd judge lighting and I hate cool lighting!

Interesting unit of size measurement!

I had one of these a few years back, did service in the kitchen at my parent's house which was a sod to try to get a decent amount of light in. Lasted four or five years as I recall. Was eventually replaced by a 60W Megaman Clusterlite when it failed, that I still have somewhere as I had the sense to recover it when we moved out.

The warm white are a good colour when lit, but the cool white counterpart is leaning to the blue/green side.
